Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University is facing tough situations these days. Recently the state president of Hindu Yuva Vahini termed AMU as the “Nursery of Terrorism” and a day later one student shot dead in the campus premises.
Though it does not mean any connection between two incidents but both are really so shocking and created some natural fear among student community.
Taking very serious note upon the murder of BSW final year student Alamgeer, AMU Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah wrote a letter to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Akhilesh Yadav to initiate the process for the CBI inquiry in this case. The Vice-Chancellor also sent a copy of this letter to the Home Minister of India, Shri Rajnath Singh.
“I request you to please initiate the process for instituting an Inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Govt of India.” Vice-Chancellor wrote in his letter addressed to CM of Uttar Pradesh.
